Clusters of differentiation, or CD molecules, are cell surface markers that are used for the identification and characterization of leukocytes and different subpopulations of leukocytes.
This allows for cells to be defined based on the molecules that are present on their surface. They are typically identified using flow cytometry which allows for the detection of multiple markers on cells simultaneously through the use of cell marker antibodies.
SouthernBiotech supplies cell marker antibodies for the detection of mouse, human, chicken, porcine, and feline CD molecule targets conjugated to over 15 fluorochromes, all produced and validated in-house, for your multicolor flow cytometry assays.
