Anti-Human Interleukin-10 (IL-10) ELISA Set

ANTIGEN DESCRIPTION
Human interleukin-10 (IL-10) is a potent regulatory factor that is produced by a variety of cells including activated T cells, monocytes and B cells. IL-10 inhibits the inflammatory response by decreasing pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-3, TNF- α and GM-CSF secreted by macrophages and lymphocytes. IL-10 has also been shown to have a proliferative effect on B cells, thymocytes and mast cells, as well as promoting B cell differentiation into antibody producing cells.

The human IL-10 ELISA Assay Set contains the necessary reagents, buffers and diluents for performing quantitative enzyme linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). The set is specifically engineered for accurate and precise measurement of human IL-10 protein levels from samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants in the range of 0 to 1000pg/mL. This assay has shown no cross-reactivity with other cytokines tested and is expected to be used effectively for further investigations into the relationship between IL-10 and the various conditions mentioned.
